Did you say Muti-Platform and Multi-Browser support?

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

Brian and I have started to incorporate the latest TeamDev libraries into Watij. During this process we are trying re-evaluate another product by TeamDev that could actually boost Watij to a whole new level. This new product would give Watij the ability to be multi-platform (windows, osx, linux) and multi-browser (ie, firefox, safari). I know thats saying a mouthful and we are still very early in the process of evaluating the technology. But wow..

New Documentation

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

Today we launch the new documentation site.  Previously we were using doku wiki with a wikipedia theme. It worked ok when we started using it back in 2006 but we have not kept it up to date and it was a manual update each time we wanted to upgrade.  We use Wordpress today for StarterStep so I thought I would migrate all the existing documentation to Wordpress and try to get back into giving time to the project.

My goals are to finish out some of the pages here that I think are lacking some information but to also begin to grow some areas such as the FAQ section. I am going to keep a blog here so that if interesting items come up at our Google Group we can write a synopsis here.  We can also use this as another means to help promote the tool and what we are currently doing to help keep watij a competitive tool in your toolset for automation.
